The basics
Is Plus 1 Social Club a dating app?
No. Plus 1 Social Club is for finding friends and activity partners with no romantic pressure or expecations.
How much does it cost?
Plus 1 Social Club is free to join. However, tiered memberships will be coming soon.
Where can I use it?
Plus 1 Social Club works in your web browser on your phone or computer. Sign up at app.plus1club.com. The mobile version will be coming soon.
Who can join?
Users must be 18+ and this is limited to Bellingham, WA. With the hope of expanding across the US.
Matching
How are matches chosen?
We look at shared interests, the kinds of events you like, your availability, and how far apart you are, and show you your strongest matches.
Why do I only see a few matches?
We show a short list of your best matches instead of an endless feed, so you can focus on people you're likely to click with, and not get stuck swiping.
What happens when I tap “Not for me”?
That person is hidden from your matches for now. They aren't notified. They will circle back around, unless you block or report the user.
How do I get more matches?
Add more interests to your profile. More interests means more people you have something in common with.
Events
Can I post my own events?
Yes. Add a title, date and time, location, optional photo, and tags. You choose whether it's free or paid, and whether it's open to all or a single plus one only.
Where do I find events I'm going to?
The Interested In and Hosting tabs on the events page keep track of events you've marked and events you're hosting.
Safety and your account
How do I report or block someone?
Open their profile, the event, or your chat with them and choose Report or Block. Our team reviews every report.
Can I control what others see?
Yes. In Settings you can show only your last initial, hide your age, hide yourself from matches, or pause matching.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and profile.
